We shear in late February before lambing. It is becoming quite an event and many of our customers like to come watch and often participate. (We can always use an extra helper or two!) If you would like to be notified when shearing day will be, just drop us a note. It is always done in the barn and out of the weather. Hot coffee and some breakfast treats are on hand to keep you warm.
You can schedule a visit with us any time of the year to view current fleeces available or reserve a fleece still "on the hoof". The best time to come is on shearing day where you can pick one as they come off the animal!
We will bring our remaining unsold fleeces to the NH Sheep and Wool Festival that is held on Mother's Day weekend in May. Come early for the best selection. Any remaining fleeces will be listed here after the event.
